Mussels and Pasta Parmesan

(Serves 4)

  • 1 Lb (Two 8 oz packages) Pier 33 Gourmet Mussel Meat (Natural or In Butter Garlic Sauce)
  • 1 tbs. Olive Oil
  • 1 clove garlic, sliced thin
  • 6-7 plum tomatoes, chopped
  • ½ cup Italian parsley chopped
  • ½ Cup shaved parmesan cheese
  • 1Lbs your favorite pasta (Spaghetti or Linguine work best) cooked al dente.

In a sauce pan heat the olive oil. Add garlic and cook on medium heat for 2 minutes. Add tomatoes and simmer on med/high for 5 to 7 minutes . Add Pier 33 Gourmet Mussel Meat heat for 2 -3 minutes add salt and pepper to taste. Pour sauce over pasta, sprinkle with chopped parsley and shaved parmesan before serving.
